HDTV Antenna Labs Launches Online Tool to Assist with HDTV Antenna Selection Process
Syosset, NY (PRWEB) October 22, 2009
With the big digital television switchover that took place early this year and with the economy making it difficult for consumers to afford to pay a monthly cable or satellite bill, a growing number of people have decided to purchase HDTV antennas instead. With the help of an HDTV antenna, television viewers can still pick up digital broadcasts from their local television networks as well as several other networks without having to pay a monthly fee. Unfortunately, selecting the right antenna to use within a certain area can be a challenge. With the help of an antenna selection tool available on through HDTV Antenna Labs, however, consumers can easily find the right antenna to suit their needs and geographic location.
“We understand how difficult it can be to select the proper HDTV antenna,” said Arthur Gubeskys, founder and CEO of HDTV Antenna Labs, “that’s why we decided to create a tool that would make the process much simpler.”
Although there are other tools available on the Internet that allow consumers to browse through the television stations available in a specific area, HDTV Antenna Lab’s TV Antenna GeoSelector takes the process a step further. In addition to displaying a list of television station, the tool also utilizes a proprietary algorithm in order to automatically determine the best antenna for a specific area. Users can also obtain expert advice and exchange information with other HDTV antenna users in order to achieve the best reception possible.
“We’re pretty excited about the TV Antenna GeoSelector,” continued Gubeskys, “Not only can people use the tool to view a comprehensive map of stations within their area, the tool also provides them with a suggested set up that will help them obtain the most TV networks possible. This way, we hope to help people get the most use from their HDTV antennas.
The TV Antenna GeoSelector, which is still in the Beta stage, can be accessed at http://www.hdtvantennalabs.com/location/. Currently, the tool can be used to assist consumers within the United States only, but plans are in process to expand the tool to include Canada as well.
