HDTV – The Next Level in Home Entertainment

High Definition Television, otherwise known as HDTV, can be considered as the ultimate high in home entertainment. HDTV had its humble beginnings in Japan in 1970 and was introduced in the United States only in 1981. Following several discussions by the FCC, HDTV became available to the general public only in the late 1990’s.
